Frequently Asked Questions
Can you respond to an incident even if we aren't existing customers?
Yes. We accept emergency engagements from non-customers via our urgent support form. There is a clear hourly rate, no retainer is required, and we can typically be on a triage call within the hour during UK working hours.
What is mean time to detect and contain on your platform?
For monitored customers, mean time to detect is typically under 10 minutes for high-fidelity alerts, and mean time to contain on confirmed endpoint compromise is generally under one hour. Numbers vary by environment and are reported transparently each month.
Do you provide post-incident reports we can show to regulators or insurers?
Yes. Every incident response engagement concludes with a written report covering the timeline, scope, root cause, evidence preserved and remediation. Reports are written to be acceptable to the ICO, cyber insurers and clients' own boards.
Will you work alongside our existing internal IT team?
Yes. We routinely act as an incident-response capability layered on top of an internal IT or security team. We share tooling, defer to internal change processes where sensible, and hand back full control once the incident is closed.
Do you have a software product for incident response?
Yes. PathFinder AI is our in-house incident response platform that powers triage, on-call routing, runbook automation and customer communications. Managed clients get it included; it is also available as a standalone SaaS.
Start with a straight answer.
A fixed-price healthcheck tells you exactly where your IT and security stand — devices, backups, email security and where your data sits — in a plain-English report within five working days. Credited against your first month if you go on to a retainer.
